an experience to be had

Moonlit sledge rides

We provide sledges, helmets and headlamps for an experience that will make your stay in Cortina d’Ampezzo even more magical: go up to the chalet by snowmobile in the evening, have dinner and then have fun as you zoom down on the snow via the well-maintained routes.

Our rental service team will organise the necessary number of sledges for your group, deliver them and then pick them up at an agreed-upon location.

We have selected a few medium-difficult routes just for you. For that reason, be sure to always assess your sledging experience and ability in relation to the route to be taken well before you head down a descent.

Technique tips

How to use the sledge?

Sledges can reach high speeds, so it’s important to wear a helmet and to know how to use the brakes. Sitting properly with your legs extended, having the right equipment, and the ability to shift your centre of gravity around corners are indispensable for a good downhill ride.
We therefore recommend that you ask us for more information when renting your sledge, so that you’ll have the right technique from the start.

Safety on the piste

Follow the rules

Following the safety rules, exactly as you would with skis, is of absolute importance.
Here are a few pro tips:

  • obey all signs;
  • adapt your speed to the terrain and your experience;
  • calculate and keep a safe distance from other people;
  • do not interfere with their trajectory;
  • never stop in the middle of the piste, but always at its edge;
  • when you go uphill, always walk on the sides of the piste;
  • assist others in the event of an accident.
