We suggest some easy itineraries that are thought to be self guided, to safely approach these disciplines and enjoy the Dolomites.

Please read: Snow Service does not organize excursions nor offers guide hiring services. We only provide rental service and suggestions on easy and safe routes you may venture on with our equipment. For more demanding routes we recommend hiring an Alpine Guide.

Drop in our shop at 206, Corso Italia and rent the necessary gear (snowshoes, touring skis, and sledges). Our staff will also provide you with directions and detailed information.

Malga Ra Stua

Short though demanding climb to Malga Ra Stua. Stop at the farm-restaurant for a well deserved rest and then descend along the charming forest road down to St Ubertus.

Rifugio Mietres

Leisurely ascent to Rifugio Mietres. After a well deserved rest, enjoy skiing down the former ski run as far as Guargnè.

Rifugio Dibona

Leisurely climb to Rifugio Dibona. Enjoy the delicacies offered by the Mountain inn for a snack, lunch, or dinner and then ski down the forest road as far as Malghe Fedarola.

Malga Federa

A long ascent skinning up to Malga Federa. Enjoy the traditional local specialities of the farm restaurant and then get ready for an exciting descent along the forest road down to Lake Pianozes.

From Malga Peziè de Parù, a charming snowshoeing hike, through the forest of Abrizzola, will take you to the scenic Lake d’Ajal. The return to Cortina goes by the Volpera caves and through Mortija Village

Sellaronda Circuit

The Sellaronda circuit develops around the Sella Massifs and its 4 Dolomite passes. Starting from Cortina the passes become 5, including Passo Falzarego. It is probably the most amazing ski tour in the world and can be easily done in one day.

The “Great War ski tour” develops around Col di Lana – the iconic symbol of World War 1 – beneath famous peaks and mountain groups as Civetta,Pelmo, Tofane, Lagazuoi, Conturines, Settsass, Sassongher, Sella, and Marmolada.

The Super 8 ski tour develops in an 8-shape itinerary across the most scenic saddles of the Dolomites such as Forcella Averau, Croda Negra and Lagazuoi. The views over Tofane, Pelmo, Marmolada and Civetta massifs are among the most spectacular mountainscapes in the world.
