At Snow Service you will find one of the most exhaustive snowboard selections in Cortina.
We have chosen a historical brand: Nitro Team, where T1 and Squash are the top-of-the-line models. Good Times, Ripper and Cheap Thrills are the standard ones. Head (Boa Focus) and K2 (Maysis) are our selected snowboard boots, both equipped with the double BOA lacing system to guarantee better performance. The rental shop also offers a wide choice of helmets, goggles, gloves, jacket and pants, and back protectors. Beginners may rent a pair of gloves with wrist guard and a pair of impact shorts.
This discipline was born in the USA in the 1960s and, in few years, has soon conquered the heart of numberless young and even not so young riders.
Snowboard includes many disciplines that can be combined in 3 big categories:
FREESTYLE & PARK: jumps and tricks performed both on man-made structures and on the slopes (JIBBING). In this case snowboarding originates from skateboarding.
FREE-RIDE: everything about POWDER and off piste. Considered by many the essence of snowboarding, a direct evolution of surfing.
Beginners can gradually improve on easy ski runs: the most suitable ones are located in the Socrepes-Pocol Area.
In Cortina, advanced riders can enjoy ski runs such as Stratofana and Canalone Franchetti, performing carving turns along some of the best groomed runs of the Dolomiti Superski area. Some stretches are really steep and this adds to the fun.
Free Riders will not be disappointed down the narrow and steep gullies of Ra Valles and Faloria areas.
There are not many facilities for Free Stylers, but to try some tricks there are plenty of natural jumps.
Skiing in Cortina, the Queen of the Dolomites, is a dream. Snow Service makes this dream come true with the widest selection of skis for rental.
To get away from the crowded ski runs and exercising in the silence of a pristine nature.
